    Default Brakes give in?

Just got a new used Opel Vectra C 2005 mod.

When the engine is running and I punch the break pedal down it slowly gives away for the pressure. In the end the pedal is flored (after 10 sec). Is this normal behavior?

I tried the same thing on my colegues Vectra and the same thing happends but on this vehicle it take more time and pressure to floor it.

The workshop guys tell me they dont know if this is an fault or not.

The brake liquid is full but i dont know when it was changed.
I do have good break preassure on short braking distances but that longer and powerful breakdowns could be a problem.

    Any tips for me??

Could possibly be air in the braking system? Try a fluid change and see if it improves. This shouldn't cost a lot from a garage and is probably the best place to start.
