    Default changed my outside temp sensor

    i seem to have a little problem * i hope little anyway *
    i changed my outside temp sensor as it was giving out the wrong temp.
    it was saying like 34 degree's outside when it was like 10 degrees
    put a new one in and its still NOT changed.. any ideas?

    Do you have a preface car?

    If you do its probably a corroded connection at the plug by the passenger fog light

    plug near the passenger fog??? any pics m8.
    thought it was just the plug that goes onto the temp sensor.

    On the preface there is a plug you can uno tahe allows the bumper to be removed with the fogs and temperature sensor still on the bumper.

    This is a facelift picture but the arrow shows roughly where the plug is:

    Scraped the pin on the end I could get to and used a bit of wire to push in and out of the other half.

    Then once done squirted wd40 and contact cleaner into both parts and plugged back together.

    thanx lee.. just been out to it. but cant seem to undo it.. will try tomorrow in the day.
    i did spray some wd40 on it for now though.. thanx m8

    Did it work buddy I got the same issue, replaced the sensor in the middle of the bumper still got the same problem... Telling me it's +15 an I'm scraping the windows
