Just bought a cam belt kit (gates with tensioners etc) water pump and aux belt £139 from my local auto store. All fired up to do the job thank you Penfold101 for the video you did.
Hope fully ambient temperature will rise sufficently soon to allow the deed to be done.

After reading other threads I am a little concerned that I should have changed the belt earlier!

Changed belt and water pump today (x2!!)
The first time the new water pump did not seal and just before I was about to start the car I wondered where the drops of coolant were coming from......They looked like they were coming from an engine mounting bolt at the front of the car but the water was tracking across from the base of the pump. Never had something like this happen before inexplicable really..............
It all came off again and pump resealed. Could have cried.
So check the seal on the water pump re-fill system and leave a while before replacing belt etc and check seal is good.
Other learning points Use a nail fairly large 3" to pin back tensioner for Aux belt tensioner other wise a smaller pin/nail will bend
Figure out how the belt tensioner works as adjusting it is a bit tricky until all of a sudden, you understand how it tension's and the pointer moves to the correct postion!
I did not drain coolant down just placed washing up bowl under general area and collected about (appx 2 litres)
    The number of different sized fastners is a real pain! 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 22 mm + torx Male /female and allen/hex what a mixture!
You need to remove the under tray around 16 small torx screws for access to crankshaft pulley and to jack engine on sump.
You do not need the locking tools (defo) as long as you mark up as the ‘How to’ and watch Penfold101's video and start putting the belt on from the crank pulley up to the cam shaft then fuel pump and then attach the belt to the tensioner pulley sliding the flat side of the belt over the water pump as the final move.
    But be careful.

Just a note to say they are not 'Torx' but 'Ribe' fasteners (As its a Fiat engine)

Another school day never heard of 'Ribe'. Filed for future use!
Had a look at your thread tony-1977...... so close.
The things I noticed on mine was that the tensioner pointer was pointing well low away from the original setting (belt stretch) and the car had been squeeking/ groaning at tick over in time with engine speed.
I thought it was the aux drive belt. But when I turned over the engine by hand to set the timing marks the cam belt was squeeking/groaning The plain idle pulley also had strange wear marks/roughness on it. That was with 91k on clock and all standard GM parts from new.
