    Default snowflakes lead time

Had 19" snowflake on order since mid October to replaced a damaged wheel

Now told it will be mid DECEMBER delivery

What the ****** hell are they up to?

only want one- surely they should be a stock item as wheel replacement is a safety issue, and they're OE ( when specified )

Can understand Irmscher retrofit wheels having a long lead time, but not a standard Vx Part!!

i waited 7 weeks for a set of 19" snowflakes to arrive, they are not
irmscher alloys but irmscher alloys are mostly available straight away
but the snowflakes are a vauxhall alloy which as to be ordered
from dealer, and as you say its a p*ss take on that sort of delivery
there is loads of these snowflakes around.

If it's any consolation people's cars are been delayed on the production line also because of this. Bit annoying when Vauxhall increased the upgrade price by £100 from September onwards.

Got mine pretty quick, so maybe the delay has been sorted out?, I think I've been waiting 6 weeks which is pretty good for a new car I think.

    Default snowflakes

what really hacks me off is my wheel was damaged in accident

what if it had been damaged too badly to be safe- would I have had to trundle around at 40mph with my space saver on for 2 months...

As it is, I'll have driven 8000 miles with a potentially dangerous wheel- perhaps I should get it xrayed for cracks to be safe

What is it with vx and the supplier- what happened to "anticipating demand"?
