    Default Swift Cover!!!

Or should I sat Dick Turpin Insurance. Just received my renewal quote from them and bearing in mind I've been driving for 28 years with full no claims they quoted me over £1000 for the privilage of using them and then had the cheek to ask why I haven't renewed with them!!!! Errr it may be because I've found a company that aren't robbers!!!! There rant over.

I also had my renewal from swift come through, plus another years no claims and mine had gone up over 25%??? but when I went on one o those comparison websites they quoted cheaper than my renewal?? I spoke to them about it but they wern't interested so I went elsewhere!!
There is no consistency with car insurance, I think they just make the prices up!!!

It does seem you have to change insurance companies every year.
I'm not recommending one comparson site over another, but I'm collecting Meercats!!

Pretty much you're mad if you just accept any renewal without shopping around, this goes for all types of insurance as well as Breakdown cover and even Sky. We left sky and then got it half price for a year.

We were with swiftcover last year when we had the 2.2dti. we only had 2 months left to go when the car was written off and got the 1.9cdti. It cost £30 to cover the new car till the end of the insurance policy & when the renewal arrived, it had gone up from £550 fully comp to £1300 fully comp! Moved to LV for the princely sum of £500.

Something that you should be aware of with SwiftCover is that they wont insure performance modified cars! Anything that can be considered a 'performance mod' will have them writing you a cancellation notice.

I spoke to swift and they said that they could not match the quote I had got so they have lost another customer. Oh well I'm sure they can afford it
