    Default Glow plug fuse?

Is there a fuse for the glow plugs? My Y22DTR turns over about 6-8 times before firing, but it always starts. However, I've never seen the glo plug light come on, I know we've not had a particularly cold winter in London yet, but I do recall some cool mornings in early December where the onboard temp said 2c, in fact, it actually started when freezing cold than at the end of the day in 8C temps in a covered car park.

Anyway, can't find any reference to a fuse for them, I have checked all my fuses too, so perhaps it ain't them anyway.

Can't answer directly for fuse. But those engines do suffer with injector seals leaking which would cause similar problem and many over look this and go straight for pre heat plug problems. Handbooks are available from vauxhall website. Not sure of link but quick google search for vectra handbook should bring it up. They do have a separate glow plug relay module aswell.

If you have access to an amp clamp meter you should get roughly 20amps per plug if there working but as you have said only used for cold weather starting. My light dont come. On very often on my 2.2 dti. failing that you could take them out and put 12v on them but do not hold them as they get extremely hot.
