    Default Condensation

Hello. My car has not been off my driveway now for about a week now. Today when I pulled it off the drive I noticed the dash clocks had condensation on them, I wiped it with my hand just to be sure and it was damp. I then looked down at my new Pioneer double din head unit and noticed that also had condensation on the screen . I then remembered about people getting water in the boot through the aerial seal that sometimes fails on the Vectra. I checked my boot and all was good, dry as a bone in my boot. What could be the problem. I checked my windows and they are all up ok. I would be gutted if my new Pioneer broke because it was damp . What could I do to make it better? Thanks for any info

Just read something about the scuttle panel getting blocked up sometimes. I have not checked this yet, only had my car about 4 weeks now. I will check that tonight. If I remember right when I first got the car the drivers floor matt was damp. Whats the best way to dry the floor out? Will I have to take the carpets out if it's wet still? I noticed a few times the front screen had condensation on it. I just hope my heater blower will be ok and it works very well at the moment, lovely and hot.

Yes it was, I used the car on Xmas day last. I am sure it was raining a little. My car is a 2007 Vectra.

Well I just phoned the girlfriend up who has took my car to work and I asked to to check the floor on both sides of the car to see how they felt. She said the passenger side felt a little damp, not much and the drivers side was dry. I asked to to nip into Vauxhall on the way home tonight and get a pollen filter

Anyone got a part number for a pollen filter for a 2007 Vectra Sri Turbo Z20NET? I did try and get the part number from the Part Numbers section but I could not get access. Thanks for any info

    Edit:

Whats the difference between the two pollen filters for our Vectra range?

    93172299 - Pollen Filter - Standard £5.95
    93172129 - Pollen Filter - With active carbon £9.99

The carbon one is worth the extra, you don't get smells in the cabin.
