I'm a 29 year old bloke who's pretty unfit, a bit overweight thanks to too much booze (not just because of Xmas/NY!) and I fancy a change.
I'm not really a going to the gym kind of guy, I get bored to tears with running on a treadmill or cycling. I only get into physical fitness if there's an "aim", ie: game of tennis/football etc.
Saw kickboxing on the telly a few days ago and fancied giving it a try, but need someone to give me a bit of a boost. Afterall, don't want to make an tit of myself or get my head kicked in!
Anyone know if it's realistic for a guy of my age, who's never done any sort of martial art, to get into the sport (purely for fun I might add, I don't expect to be any good!).
I'd love some advice if any of you are into this sort of thing.
