    Default Painting the engine cover...

I am looking at painting the engine cover but wanted to know if I'd need a different paint to the stuff I used to do the front grill and rear bumper insert(halfrauds paint). The only reason I ask is because I wasn't sure if I'd need a high temperature paint, and if so where I would get it from? Also would it be the same, prime, paint, lacquer sort of work?

    Thanks

    Stephen

I know but it's just something different and I find it a bit boring looking under there so want to match it in with my black and orange theme....

I tried just spraying with plastic undercoat .then a top coat ..but the dimples on the airbox .battery and engine covers are quite deep ,so looked awful unless filled i think ..
as Khalid said they look better wrapped or dipped .
or a heavy coat of paint then laquer .
