Lightbulb Sidelights, Number Plate Lights, and Interior Lights

Has anyone ever tried these bulbs?

    http://www.consumabulbs.com/files/bdet.php?id=595

I was wanting a brighter bulb for my sidelights, number plate lights, and interior lights. Just concerned as they are 10w, and not the standard 5w. Would the wiring cope with it?

I have tried LED's but they strobe, and give "bulb out" errors. And had MTEC's but I got a roasting off a local rozzer as apparently they looked blue-ish

    Any help / opinions welcome

I think the wiring would be fine mate

I have 7w resistors in my sidelights ATM. Soon to be 10w

current is your big question, a 5w input at 12v pulls a current of 0.42 amps, so at 10w at 12v your looking at 0.84 amps max which in my opinion will be fine, not making any guarantees but my gut feeling is there will be no problems

Thanks guys. Will get the bulbs ordered

Was just concerned as I know that upping the wattage on the main headlights can cause damage to the wiring.
