    Default Fitting front fogs

(Sorry if this has been asked before, i couldn't see anything on the subject)

How hard/easy is it to fit OE front fog lights to an Insignia without them?

Is it just a case of getting the actual parts and fitting them to existing plugs (usually tucked behind bumper somewhere) and gettingna new switch, or is it abit/alot more involved?

    Thanks in advance

I don't think it's just plug and play bud, once they've been fitted I believe they need programming in, which dealers should be able to do, but most of them couldn't be bothered and the other half won't have anybody with enough nonce to see the job through, there is a chap over on Insignia-Enthusiasts that could probably do it, but I think it would involve a couple of trips to Staffordshire, because programming new stuff in on the Insignia is a two part process.

I believe it goes along the line of, after the new parts have been fitted and recognised by the cars ECU's the new Tech system is plugged into the car, the car then ouputs a code, this is then sent through the new TIS to Web system to Opel in Germany, and in return an activation code is sent back, this is then input into the car and the newly fitted parts are activated, I think the delay comes because he works from home at the weekends and can't get a reply till into the week. This is only a rough guide though mate.
