maplight questions

hi guys, ive been trying for ages now to change the bulbs in my maplights ive changed the front two but the back ones with the plastic retainer style thing are a nightmare!
ive tryed snipe plyers and tweezers but no go, any advice on taking the thing down?
i have the sunglasses holder unit thing.
also.. (and more importantly)

the picture i put in, kudos to whoevers that car is, its smart.

whats the deal with that maplight? ive been trying to find one for ages on ebay but cant see it, if i can source one is it a direct replacement as that one looks a lot better in my oppinion.

Need to remove the whole unit there in holders follow the how2 takes 5 min

Funny looking map light is because there is a sunroof.

There is a dial to open/close it.

get about 2 inch of insulation tape and stick it length ways on the bulb

wrap it around as best you can then pull the bulb out with the tape

very simple take seconds

That car will be mine

As Lee says, the map light is like that because I have a sunroof. It curves around the open/close dial.

i have a spare map ligh unit, just needs the spring re-fitted in one of the buttons but otherwise is perfect, no sunglasses holder tho, PM me if your interested
