    Default Removing door mirror casing

The casing on the driver door mirror is cracked and needs to be replaced - its the black bit that runs around the mirror, about an inch deep before the colour coded housing

Can you replace this without taking the mirror off?

And can you buy/get hold of this bit easily or do you need to buy the full mirror and dismatle it?

    Thanks in advance peeps

cheers for that mark, I'll get trawling ebay then - although as you've seen the blue could do with blowing over anyway
