    Are they ment to make a noise not Swedish like a faint grind hard to describe or are they ment to be silent

    Could be a bit of surface rust when you first set out should clear after a couple of uses.

    Could also be wear indicator on pads. Check how much pad is left. Or could be a bit of grit trapped between pad and disk.

    i had this probleam when i broke like a grinding noise from the front took it in to kia and the prob was my front disk over lapping on the brakes if that makes sense

    I've got this coming from the front and back, thing is pads and discs are like new, it's deffernatly louder in the morning but still noticeable throughout the day, think it's just normal tbh

    Should not make any sound at all except maybe first thing in the morning when they clear any overnight rust. After that silence unless you have been racing or diving like an idiot and overheating them, then they would probably squeal like a stuck pig.

    Front or rear?
    The rears are known to suffer this when cold, as they are often chemically attached to the disc when the handbrake is applied
    The noise then disappears as the discs warm up
    Park the car in gear (as you should), don't apply the handbrake, and compare

    If you are getting a grinding noise with any brake application it is likely the pads are near the end of their life, typically the inside pads wear out first
