Been having problems with the Vectra, it has been a complete nightmair to start in the mornings, as soon as outside temp is down @ 2-3 deg lucky to get 2-3 tries to start car and it just kills the battery, have had battery checked from local garage it is all good( only 9 month old) and the alternator seams to be ok as getting a good voltage reading when car is running and no electrical gremlins i.e power steering failing.
Have changed the Glow plugs just for piece of mind, had the car in at local garage for 2 days to let them check it over and they still cant find an issue, they had a Vauxhall Mechanic up to have a look at it and he rattled off a few things that could be a possibility but as always fix one thing then still the same issue then it will be something else and before you know all have a bill with more zeros than the Euro millions.
Had a look over a few posts on here regarding cold start issue and nothing seams to be anything like my problems.
Car is back into garage again tomorrow to see if they get any joy out of it again but not holding my breath
Any suggestions or any of you lads had the same problems and found the cure any info would be much appreciated as its doing ma head in now like.
Car is a CDTI 150.
