you need to download and install itunes onto your vista computer, then use the usb cable to connect the iphone to the computer. there is no other way to do it.

I don't believe this will move music onto your pc? Think this will also loose your iPhone music If the pc doesn't have the original music files ????

If it was purchased on the iPhone it will transfer them onto pc via iTunes

If its from say phone and trying to add them to another pc and all music was purchased via iTunes it can also be done by contacting apple.

    Otherwise I think you'll need a 3rd party software

I had to use a program called "Touchcopy" when my PC packed up last time. Worked a treat getting all the music and vids off the phone. Bad bit was having to reinstall all the Purchased apps again onto the new iTunes. But if it's just for music then Touchcopy should sort you out

If its music you've purchased through the iTunes store you can download iTunes onto your pc, log into your iTunes account and download again or plug your phone in and if will download from the phone to the pc. However, if it's music that's been put onto the phone from another source (eg; another pc) you cannot move the data from iPhone to pc. I'd also assume that if the music is from another pc, the iPhone will be synced to that pc, so connecting it to a new pc will lead to the handset being completely wiped.

As big Dave, just install iTunes, sign in and go to the iTunes Store, on the right you will see 'Purchased' from there you can download any purchased music again
