    Default Pioneer speakers

    Ive got some JBL GTO628 front door speakers at the mo but bcos the speaker adaptors are too big the door card split the speaker, are these straight fitting pioneer any good?

    I have them all round matey, comes with replacment tweeters too for from and rear doors, makes a hell of a difference HTH...

    In my past experience with proper components you dont get great bass as its filtered out to only allow high's to the tweeters and mid bass to the mids. In the long run you'll get a better sound when you split up high, mid and lows.

    Do they fit ok without the door card rubbing against the glove box etc?

    i got them front and rear, sound is better than original but is ultimately let down by the head unit.
    They also fit perfectly with all the correct connectors!

    You have standard headunit?? I've got the cd70 nav, don't wanna change headunit just upgrade speakers. Already have a sub fitted.
