Does it look like this? If so, it's the bulb failure warning light

He has an option on the mirror that you don't. Ordered at the factory more than likely.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I don't have a name for this option, but only available on the Design and Elite trim

Multi-contour driver’s seat with electrical reach, rake, height, tilt, lumbar
support (including lumbar support height) and extendable thigh-support
cushion adjustment, adjustable fan cooling and three-position memory
(including door mirrors) and reverse-assist passenger’s side door mirror.
Front passenger’s seat with electrical reach, rake, height and tilt adjustment
    Manual lumbar adjustment
    Electrically heated front seats

I miss the extendable thigh support cushions, they were great on the Vectra B SRI

You need to work round the bulbs in sequential order

    Step 1
Ask someone to apply the footbrake
Check both rear upper lamps activate

    Step 2
    Turn the sidelights on
Check both front sidelights, all four rear lamps, and numberplate

    Step 3
Turn the headlamps, then full beam on
Check both front headlamps and full beam

    Step 4
    Turn the foglamps on
Check both front (if fitted) and rear (nearside only)

    Step 5
Turn the engine off, return the key to the power position
Switch the hazard warning lights on
    Inspect all six indicator bulbs

    Step 6
    Put the car into reverse
    Check both reverse bulbs

If it is none of those, then replace all four rear lamps (as seen in Step 2)
These are the ones that typically report as failed, but suggests one is near the end of its life

I don't think the Display in the tachometer can be dimmed / brightened from the variable lamp display, so it may be near the end of its life and/or faulty

When mine comes on at night (as I drive with the interior lamps dimmed to their minimum) it is really bright I deal with the issue immediately to get rid of the warning
