    Default Flickering led side lights

Ive fitted some led sidelights, very bright. I knew the light symbol was gonna come on the dash, but when the lights arent on, they flash almost like police lights every few seconds. I suppose some people would love that mod for free.

It's because of can bus. It sends pulses to check for bulb errors. So they only thing to do is just drive around with lights on.

And then do what I do. And tell people it's the alarm when they flash when you lock and unlock the car

You'll either have to fit a Resistor to the lights to stop it or just live with it m8. Ultimately you'll need to go back to conventional bulbs as sometimes resistors don't do the trick.

It dosent bother me tbh, quite a nice touch, just worried about the legality. Does this mean my hid's will do the same? Different subject, fitted reverse sensors yesterday and they work a treat

No hids work fine. And as for legal side just drive with side lights on and no one is any the wiser

Your worried about the legality of LED's strobing but your fitting hid's that shouldn't comply with the mot unless you have auto levelling and washers......
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
