    Default egr keep or go

    i am just about to have mas performance remap do i buy a blanking plate and map the egr out or should i keep i clean it out every 6 to 12 months and not been a problem yet what are the pros and cons of keeping and getting rid cheers

    Blank the EGR valve off. I have had mine mapped out for the last 3k and blanked it off 15,000 miles ago.

    I had mine blocked and deleted around feb this year and had no problems one less thing to go wrong lol

    Never understand this viewpoint (if you plan on doing it anyway), that's too late then fella, your manifold will already be probably past the point of no return, do it asap.

    yeah but as long i keep egr and manifold clean it should be ok shudnt it it is the updated manifold
