As each year goes by, the more and more I feel like that

Last year looking outside, it looked and felt like Christmas (as it did for the whole week)

This year it is more like Autumn, with rain, wind, and warm daytime ambient temperature

The final straw is the retailers knowing people are not spending as much
However, food sales seem to be up
This suggests people are spending more time with family, rather than on bottomless wallets (which this year seemed to have dried up)

    Personally, no change here
I don't do Christmas anymore, as it is a religious event or retailer hoik

Just another ordinary day here, my kids are doing their own thing with their respective mums, and I'll be with my dad having the same conversations we have every flippin day.

there seems to have been far less advertising this year and less decorations on the high streets and shops ,

so xmas has not been shoved down your throat this year .

its not like Christmas at all for me, worked from 4:30am to 4:30pm Christmas eve and back for the same Boxing day, asked my manager if we get the work done could we leave early and he said yes but we will dock your wages, the joys of working as an engineer for a food production factory, oh and buy the way they are well ahead of their production orders.
