Driving at 70 this morning doing 20 miles and only avrage 45 49 mpg and temp sat at 83 and dropped to 80 when put heaters on any ideas

1.9 cdti 150 temp now normal just poor mpg used to sit 56 60

Headwind will make a big difference! Even just a blustery day could give you 25mph headwind....same as cruising at up to 25 mph above your indicated speed.

When was the last service? Also in the winter your MPG will drop, but that is a big drop.

When I got the car in July 10k ago changed air filter will do oil change some point would a clean boost sensor change things car on 53k

Also ten pound fuel will only do around 55 miles that's with motorway and little bit town

I normally get 60miles from £10 mines a 1.8 vvt

Well this morning was sitting 83 went to 80 then went up to 86 put heaters on went back down 80 and stayed at 83
