I did mine a couple of weeks ago but replaced the whole resister pack as I was put off by some of the horror stories of the maplin thermal fuse 'Fire' fix.

Mine cost about £18 of eBay for a full resister, VX also told me it was not a common problem however, they had one in stock and it was £36.00…. WHY?

I rang my dealer up they priced me one at £46 inc vat so i thought i would try the 82p maplin fix first so ill see how long it last if it last a while then top stuff but if i have to keep replacing the fues then ill just get a new unit from vauxhall but at the mo every thing seems fine
