Easy to fit. Hard part is putting a hole in your headlamp covers. Iused a 20mm holesaw. I've got 50w 6000k and they are a little bluey, the difference is unreal. Never been pulled or had anyone flash me yet. They become an MOT failure as of January 2012 I'm lead to believe. Plenty of threads on here about that though.

I got mine from hids4us just over 2 years ago. Make sure you select can-bus PRO ones from the ballast drop down menu. Carmodshop sell the same ones for approx the same price.

HIDsDirect is another place you could get them from. Some people have had good experience from them, others bad.

IMHO, 35w is sufficient, and 6000K.

I'm waiting to see what happens over the next 12 months, reasonably happy with my current set up (beam raised and 90%+ Xenon bulbs).
I was wondering the same, if I fit them, 35w or 50w. Don't like the blue tint so would go for 4300k or 5000k. I don't want to make a fashion staement, or light up a runway, just improve light and range a little more.

Yeh i know that m8 i was referring to Grumpys post that he had the beams raised.
The original how to was done on a pre-face and was wondering if it can be done the same way on facelift without the need for alignment

As Stevie16v said, all cars (not just Vecs) have manual adjusters on the headlights themselves, he wasn't talking about the button on your dashboard to do it. The howto applies to the facelifts in exactly the same way, you just need to look where the adjusters are, there are two adjusters one for up/down and one for left/right on each headlight.

Sorry, I didn't word it properly. It's exactly the same way with the facelift. There is several ways of doing it "properly" I used to set up mine with roughly the same way as duncan done the how2, but I would measure it out etc, but i won't go into that and complicate things
