Default Vacuum hose over the counter?

Anyone know where I can buy some vac hose over the counter. I have tried VX and they say it is not something they stock (I don't beleive that) also had a look on halfruads site and they don't have it. Kind of need it today as the mine has a big split in it.

Go and tell your local vauxhall dealer that they are breaking the law as for service part's they must keep stock up to 15 years after that they do not have to stock it as I work for aftermarket department for the brake company we must keep spare's as soon as a new brake goes on the market we got spares in stock

I managed to get some from a local motor factor, had to go round 5 or 6 before I found one that had it in stock. Tried 3 VX dealers too and they did not have it on the shelf.

You can't expect dealers to have every part in stock, ordering usually takes a couple of days.

You've had too much black coffee. Dealers don't have to keep anything in stock, the OP means the dealer can only get it by ordering it from Vauxhall, which more than satisfies the law.

I agree but it comes in reels and would have thought that somewhere in the service dept one of them would have some. After speaking to VX penfold he assured me they would have some. But I guess parts and service do not talk to one and other. Its all good though as I managed to get some.
