    Default led in the rear

    has anyone fitted led reverse light bulbs?i bought a set with load resistors so the bulb comp doesnt come on..that bits fine.but when the cars running they strobe which is ofcourse no good!
    so if i buy canbus b15as will they work as they should?

    There have been a few guys that have fitted the full led tail light units with no problems so there is a fair chance you can get the bulbs to work

    i thought the ones with load resistor would have worked...wernt ****** cheap,lol...can use them in my astra or cavy tho so no biggy.
    just dont wana spend more on canbus ones and they dont work.
    i thought about the led rear lights...but they are a bit **** in that the reverse light and indicator is still a buld not an led...wee bit half arsed

    iirc they will always strobe as its the bulb check function on the car that makes them strobe, my fronts do it as do my number plate lights, when the car is off and locked they strobe for around 30 secs then every ten mins or so for a few seconds

    ******..i thought canbus bulbs would have stopped that.

    Na unfortunately not, i have the Canbus Sidelights and unless I drive with the sidelights on all the time I have the flickering constantly, tho that said my plate lights dont for some reason

    yes my plate lights do the same, its really annoying but hey they look the part!!

    up yours bulb system checker!done:-)just wired in a bulb on either side in circuit.so now when i put the car in reverse i have nice bright led white reverse lamps and my pockets in the boot light up.could be handy if loading/unloading the boot,just put the car in reverse gear with ignition on and hey presto a well light boot,lol.
