Rear wheel droaning

Well I've had the dreaded droaning noise on my rear for a few weeks now and was going to change my wheel bearings. But on searching the site I think its my tyres.The sound starts about 15 to 20 mph and is hardly there at higher speeds, it also changes with different road surfaces. I've checked my tyres and the near side is a lot lower than the offsides one and the inner edges are scuffed off slightly.Might do front to rear swap to make sure and then get new tyre and allignment checked.

Some further detailed info on the tyres would help...

Specification, size, tread, age, history
Number of front tyres to rear tyres, if they have been on the rear all the time

Low speed noise is usually tread pattern

if its not there from the minute you move to the minute you stop and it changes with road surface then its definately NOT a wheel bearing
