    Hi
    Can anyone tell me what type of ECU i have in my Dec2005 Vectra c SRI 150 CDTi. it has engine type Z19 DTH.Or even the location of the above unit. Cheers.

    according to TIS it's on the underside of the enginebay, under the lower acoustic tray....you'll have to remove it to see the unit ..

    Very new to this so hope you get this.thinking of buying ecu flasher need to know ecu type

    if you want an ECU flasher, then you need one that is OBD compliant, and that will talk to the ecu via the port under the ashtray in the main cabin..there is no need to remove the ECU to communicate with it..

    Yea have used the OB11 SKT with ELM327, but have been told to get the correct flasher must know the exact ecu type ?.was thinking of the KWP2000. Any Sugestions Welcome.

    if it's OBD compliant then it should access the ECU. if you want your exact ECU numbers then you'll have to remove the lower tray to get to it..
