Default tips to remove rear sri diffuser!!! i snapped it in half!

Ive had fit a dual exit thanks to rushy donating his old one after his quads! Thanks bud. But now for love nor money can i get diffuser off to fit a dual one! Ive removed all that is holding it but the clips just will not push out! I was pulling bumper so much it was bowing out! And darent do any more, prized with screwdriver but nothing! Surely theres an easier solution anyone! Thanks.

I swore cursed and yelled at mine, and still struggled. It came off in the end.... in two pieces. I ended up getting a flat screwy and pushing the many little clips outwards, with alot of force. Good luck and hang on in there, its do-able.

Ohh it's a total *******! I did mine yesterday when fitting my VXR exhaust. The clips are designed to go in and never come back out, that's why there a nightmare to do.

Mines in three pieces in the bin as once I'd cracked it I thought ****** it it's no use to anyone now, hopefully the VXR one will go in easier than that came out

Start at one of the ends not in the middle the clips are like fishing hooks they have a barb type connection ..you need some metal strips you can push between the barb and the bumper do that for the first three connections and the rest will come out fairly easy

I cut the lugs off from under the diffuser with a Stanley knife and just gave each clip a sharp tug rather than a slower but harder pull. It came off easy.
