    Default confused.com -------- heating and fire question

    hi all

    i need some advice as i have no clue , i have a back boiler installed at mine was in when i bought the house months ago i works fine and is spot on the fire looks like this

    at the moment i have not got £1500 to £2000 to upgrade to a combi boiler

    as the fire i have at the moment could do with updating i was wanting to put a duel fuel log burner fire in but i was told i would deffo need to go down the combi route so thats out the window so i have i come across this

    would that work as its stating back boiler?????

    2 shovels of coal (anthricate "cosyflame) a day,its still red the next morning,a few pieces of wood & away it goes...........its brilliant,doesnt have a back boiler for our radiators but the heat is traveling upstairs

    I want something like that but I don't think I can as my back boiler is behind the fire that I have at the moment

    i know you can get the multi fuel fires with a back boiler,shouldnt be a problem to get 1 that just connects to your existing boiler
