    Default Induction Kit question!

    Hi guys,
    I need an induction kit to compliment my Spider Box wich should arrive this week. Can anyone recommend a particular box and give me a link to where I can purchase one from.

    have you thought about a panel filter?? just as good for flow, but less obtrusive noise??

    As it happens, if you're after a K&N 57i type kit, I might be able to help you out. That's the full on open cone filter type, not the replacement air filter that fits in the cars airbox.

    Stick with the air box mate, mine produces so much flow that the ECU complains that the mass air flow sensor is knackered. Just change the filter often, remove the internal cone and add a second cold air feed.

    As Mark says, a panel filter in the standard airbox, with the airbox mod done will provide more than enough airflow for your needs.

    their panel filters are excellent, better filtration than a k&n but less restrictive than a standard paper element.

    Avoid induction kits and panel filters IMO and just replace the paper one frequently. Much better flow that way.....

    Mate, that's not really suprising as you have 3 pipes bypassing the MAF sensor, it's probably only registering half the air it should and screwing up your air/fuel mixture. Hence all the black smoke we saw at the Pod?!?
