    Default Thieving bas***d

Stopped of this afternoon at the Fort Shopping Centre in Glasgow for an hour or so. Got back to the car to find my Irmscher valve caps nicked . Some thieving scum's walked by and thought I'll have those. He wouldn't be able to steal any more with broken fingers if I ever caught up with him. I won't be replacing them - don't see the point in funding some low-life's modding habit . I guess I should be grateful the car wasn't keyed.

Out of interest, how many of you guys have had stuff stolen from your car ?

I had the caps nicked off my Old car (MG ZT). Not something I'd bother with again. I won't fit anything that's not securely fixed to the car.

The old kids favourate. If you get irmscher valve caps just use them for the shows.
As for stuff stolen, the ariel and the rear window wiper plastic bit that covers the nut were stoled off my Vec-B once, whilst I was shopping.

I've just bought some chrome valve sleeves and valve caps. Just for special occasions mind, shows/meets etc. The sleeves slip onto the valve stem and make them look like chrome valves, very smart but if I left them on they'd last 5 minutes.

Had 2 aerials nicked off my car and van within a week. My car was parked on the drive under the front window!!!!! Cheeky t**ts. I knew who it was too but try to get anything done....not a hope in hell. Take the law into your own hands and you get done worse. The worlds going mad!

Had this the other day - some person was trying to get the aerial of my 3.2. (parked on my own property) - that is until the dog got him and bit him hard, in spite of warnings about said beast!) The Bloke tried to whinge to the police. They told him to Fluck Orf!

It's sad when your car isn't safe on your own drive. I'm going to follow MLC's stance - from now on if it's not securely fixed to the car, it's not going on.
