    Default Blown Exaust

    Guys,
Would a blow in the flexible joint near the front of my exhaust cause a loss of power in my CDTi 150? No power after 2700rpm, turbo kicks in then fades away. Leak test done, no boost leaks!

Unlikely, sounds more like the ECU limiting fueling. Are there any fault lights on?

If the exhaust is faulty then you should be able to hear this, especially between 10 and 25mph
It can affect performance, but it wouldn't normally limit revs, so as above the EMS appears to be applying safe mode

I can hear exhaust gasses escaping from the blow in the exhaust but there are no warning lights on. I will see how it is after the exhaust gets fixed. The car still pulls up the rev range but it's definitely not got the power it should have. Might have to get a proper look at it and check all the turbo/intercooler hoses and be sure there are no other leaks. Not sure what kind of leak test the garage did when it was in. What a pain, ive only had the car a month! It's only done 65k so hope it's nothing major!
