Don't need this just before christmas!

Driving the wife's Vec at the weekend I noticed the turbo was not kicking in till around 2400 RPM, I am hoping it is just the boost sensor. I drove it again yesterday and noticed the dreaded DMF rattle.

To top it all off it is due a service in 2000 miles which is when it will be getting the cam belt and water pump done too. Just adding all this up in my head and it equates to lots of £££'s. Really don't need to be forking out for all that around this time of year.

dmf is a weekend job at mine mate and they go forever while still rattling so dont get too worried yet

as already stated dont worry to much about the rattle as it can go on for miles and miles just get other stuff sorted first mucker

no turbo till over 2.5k isnt the boost sensor it will be a split vac hose .!!!!

Any idea roughly how many? The wife does about 1000 a week for work.

Yep you were right. Changed the vac hose today and it pulls like a train again. Thanks.

i know how you feel the wifes 2.0 dti zafira dmf is getting done over the holidays @ £543 + vat and fitting although i might have a go at it myself to try and save a few £££
