Red face vectra 2.0dti bunny hopping above 1500 rpm.....HELP PLEASE???

Just registered as i am in need of help (aren't we all)
    i have a 52 plate vectra 2.0dti and it's giving me grief!!
    problem is this...
if i go above 1500 rpm the car "bunny hops" like it has no idea where to hold the revs as they go up and down, mostly down.

i have cleaned the EGR valve and inlet manifold, can't find any damage/splits in any pipes/hoses.

any and all help or ideas gratefully accepted.....

    thanks

    john

Has it had a fuel filter change recently? maybe fuel starvation. Also check the air filter if its not been changed recently.

See this thread for the location of the boost sensor on the DTi.
