Default clunking noise from front suspension

    Hi

Got a mysterious clunking noise from the front suspension and it's driving me mad.

It all started with a pinging noise from the odd 'light bump' in the road and now either continuously clunking or not at all?

Could this be a drop link or suspension mount bush?

Any ideas on cost is appreciated because I'm selling the car in 2 weeks time for a company car and don't want to waste money!

It could be a broken spring

Does each corner rebound as expected when pushed down hard or does one corner "bounce"?

    Cheers

get hold of the drop links and see if there is any play from it, if there is that'll be giving you a clunk, and not too expensive the replace either. hth

You are selling it shortly, so don't bother
Instead, spend £30 on a MoT, and if there is an issue with the suspension it will be highlighted then
The fresh MoT (at least 6 months) will give the buyer confidence
If there were any advisories simply ignore them, however if the buyer asks you must disclose these

no way of hiding advisories on mot now as there on 1 single plain sheet of white paper
