    Default dilemma

    well after all the trying finally got a dtuk eco 3 box had it on a week loved the power but hated the fact it completly disrubted the on board computer so sold it today miss the power so going to have a mas performance rolling road remap they said the onbc stays accurate etc does any body agree with what i done or should i of kept the dtuk box

    I'd have hung on to it a little longer. I've heard a few guys saying about the BC issues, but mine has always been spot on, I work mine out when I fill up aswell. It's your preference at the end of the day

    I've heard that remaps also disrupt the obc

    It may be tricking the car, there umpteen debates on it. However, My Computer on the vec is spot on with fuel consumption etc and I def wouldn't take the box off now unless I was selling it

    Many remaps also make the TC more inaccurate, can't speak for them all though. I put my BC in US units, that was it reduces the quoted mpg because the US gallon is over half a litre less than an imperial gallon.
