    Trim : LE/VXR

    Engine : 2.0 cdti/1.6 Turbo

    Year : 13/07

    Thumbs up Ring Xenonmax

If anyone is looking for a decent non HID solution for upgrade headlights look no further than these.

I had them fitted to my old Vec but I went from HIDs to them so obviously there was a decrease in performance. I bought and fitted them to my new car today after a few scary moments with the candles that it came with.

Instantly the lit area in front of the car has more than doubled and the light is alot crisper and white. I had them fitted to the old car for more than 6 months without blowing too so they seem to be more reliable than Osram nightbreakers

Just a heads up for anyone that fancies some decent bulbs without fitting hids

At 20 pound a set you would be better buying a hid kit and not noticed much of a diffrence with uprated bulbs before

had them in mine for almost 12 month, can't fault them... £20 a pair & the guy at the local motor factors fits them for free, which saves me the hassle

Might just try these instead of NB's then.

Not a bad price either http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RING-XENON...item3f07711e89

+1. Have the 100% ones (H1 and H7) in my Vec at the moment and H4 previously and they are great. They have lasted for over a year in the Vec and my previous mondeo.

They work well in the main beam of my preface, but wasn't as noticable in the dip, plus made the projectors look too yellow for my liking lol

Just had a look at a few reviews..

    http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews-all-244273.html

I was ready to go get some now im not so sure.. Were all in the same boat here crappy projector lamps which all should have had hid as standard now were suffering trying to find a bulb which will stop us killing ourselves on the roads without converting to hid which are soon due to be illegal surely there is some definitive list that can help
