what's wrong please

Hy. My first ever post here,my first ever vectra... please bear with me,sorry for my english and if this was discussed before.

It's driving me crazy,can you please tell me,what's wrong with my car: vectra c 2.0 dti,strange noise over speed bumps,not the small ones but the large(all street) ones.

It is the same,identical noise like the one in this video i found.

Morning, that's an identical noise to mine and mine only happens on speed bumps. Anti roll bar link arms or arb's i'm informed on here....

that is your arb bushes. mine done it i change the whole lotand stupidly left the arb till last and it ended up being them .

if it is a front scuff they all do that

I agree, front bushes or drop links. Try a little spray oil on them if you wish to help narrow it down, it may help. It could also be the mountings for the radiator pack, although its more likely a bush or link. very common on the Vec C.

Front anti roll bar bushes.

Get them changed only a couple of quid each from Vauxhall

it is 100% arb bushes . i had the same noise and changed all the front end .but stupidly left the arb bushes till last and the noise only stoped when i changed them . it will cost you about £10 from main dealers and you will need a flexi 10mm rachet spanner
