    Default Which tyres

    Evening all,
Im looking at replacing my tyres as the cheap ones im currently running on are very poor in the wet, im also getting very uneven wear on both my front tyres, both outer edges are worn down,
not sure is this is dur to having a snapped spring on my passenger side front and rear?

So what tyres would people recomend, i want good grip and harder wearing without spending an arm and a leg as its xmas and i also need new springs :-(

Before replacing the tyres you need to investigate the uneven wear - else the replacements are going to go the same way.

Spring needs changing ASAP, or you run the risk of any sharp protruding edges wrecking the inner edge of the tyre - not good if you're travelling at speed and have a blow out.

Agreed as above, have the suspension fully examined first
Ask them to check and report on any parts with play, not just worn

What tyre size do you currently have fitted, and the actual tyres (so we can compare and give some options)?

Personally, I only use branded tyres but these are often noisier as they hard compounds with poor performance in wet weather but last much longer
It is always a compromise between soft / quiet and hard / noisey

As others are saying have the suspension checked carefully, but then I'd happily recommend Neuton NT5000 I gace them dogs abuse on my Saab 9-5 Aero and still got well over 20,000 miles they are quiet, smooth and very grippy.
