Give it a good service mate, plugs, leads, fuel and air filter are easily do-able yourself

there are no other 'lead' options, most owners use the standard plugs.. some use Denso Iridium, I use another type but my engine has lots of modifications and is highly tuned..

You will do as well with standard plugs. Leads, this refers to old distributer systems you have individual coils for each cylinder and its these coils that may cause you a misfire issue when they start to wear out. But as stated give it a good service first. Once you have done that then we can work on further steps if you still have issues.
