Default another GID screen question (last one i promise lol)

ive heard about check control being enabled when the stalk gets programmed.
i know that i have to fit the washer sensor to get rid of that check message.
if i get check control enabled, will all the other sensors already be fitted or would you have to fit others?

i know there must be a sensor for coolant as i have had that flash up in the little box in rev counter when i changed the thermostat last year, and also in the same box it notifies you if a bulb is out too. dont know what else it shows as a check message as i have never had them come up lol

is it easier just leaving it as it is?

No extra senors to add, other than screen washer. Bulb checks come up, telling you exactly which bulb is out and slippy road warning below 3 degrees only other things ive noticed so far.

    ahh thats good to know.

just had a thought though, if the screenwasher message pops up (which it does, i'm just waiting on a sensor in the post), then surely that means the check control is already enabled doesnt it?

Dont know bud. I had the washer sensor added before I fitted the GID, and never had any other warnings prior to getting it activated. I have only read one person say there BC was working with out it requiring activating. Do you have the BC stalk fitted yet to accept the washer warning, and does it clear it?
