    Default car door edge protecters

    anyone recommend any.. we use em at work on the trucks and they seem like a good idea but looking on the bay there are so many so i thought i would ask for recommendations

    My dad got a new mercedes not long ago, took my sister to work and she swung the door open straight onto a metal fence, chipping the paint down to the metal,

    wish he had spent the 99p on them now lol.

    Personally I think they look chavvy. But those thin edging one's that go the full length look okish and better.

    hate the things, cause more damage in the long run.

    i get a lot of motability cars in at work with these fitted from new and the doors need repainting

    I think they look terrible! I remember my dad had some on his Fiat Strada years ago, big black ones with orange reflectors in them!! Eughhh!!

    Dirt gets underneath them. Removing them will scratch the doors. Leaving them in place will scratch the doors. Best thing is not to fit them at all.
