    Looks like a good idea BUT... (although it says will not crack)
    Would you poor boiling water on your windows? I know its not 100 degrees but would still be concerned.

    Big concern I'd have is if the heat shock would cause the glass to shatter etc.
    Price wise, best of sticking to them de-icer spray tins imo.

    Would need a good few cans of de-icer to get ya money back and a good few years too

    For that reason I'm out! Lol

    Bit of a contradiction - It can take as little as 30 seconds from starting your engine on a frosty morning to driving away with a clear windscreen! . But later goes on to say - De-ices the windscreen within 90 seconds to leave a frost free, clear and legal view without need for scraping

    Their technical advice: In extreme temperatures, it is essential that the correct screenwash (fit for purpose) is used in conjunction with Heatshot, to ensure the resevoir does not freeze.

    Why not just use the 'the correct screenwash (fit for purpose)' in your screenwash tank instead?
