Default Pioneer or JVC Double Din? 2 Units to pick

I am stuck on the choice of two head units for my Vectra C. It's between a JVC Double DIN KW-NT30 or the Pioneer AVIC-F930BT. The JVC has a full removable face plate for security and the Pioneer has a small removable section on the bottom left corner. What one would you buy between the two units, I am stuck. I am looking to buy this weekend. The feedback you lot give me could help me decide my new head unit for my car. Thanks for any info

Pioneer all the way, the JVC looks too chunky. i've had two JVC AX-810 in the past and both broke after about 12 months! Not ideal when they were almost £400 each

Nice bit of info. The only good thing the JVC offered more than the Pioneer was it tilts for better view for the driver and the whole face can be removed. I have always had Pioneer system and never owned a JVC before. I know Pioneer is very good. Cheers

Pioneer are very good, better than JVC for reliability anyway. I have tilt on my Xtrons unit and to be honest have never used it. The removable fascia is deffo a good idea though, although it'll proberbly spend most its life in your glovebox and if a theif wants it thats the first place they'll look

Well at least the Pioneer I am buying has a removable face section to act as a deterrent. I hope it has a flashing LED on it once removed. I have been looking at Videos of the Pioneer on YouTube, I can't find any for the JVC. Cheers

Definitely Pioneer for me... much better sound quality from them and the UI's tend to be easier and make more sense on them.

Pioneer all the way mate, they seem to be alot better than JVC in terms of sound quality and user interface.

My Alpine unit doesn't have a removal front face and initially I was a bit worried about it, but a: it doesn't really stand out particularly anyway and b: I've, shall we say, "attached" (and no I'm not posting how) it to the bulk head at the back, so anyone trying to remove it would have to basically destroy the entire dashboard and cut a ruddy great hole in the bulkhead to remove it

Your Alpine looks good, nice and neat. I am defo going to go for the Pioneer. I just like the fact it has the removable section to make it more harder for theft. Will that sport button work on my facelift Vectra 2.0 Turbo? Looks good. Also like the phone holder
