What Subs and Amps do people have

right christmas time is coming and the parents are wanting to get me something not cash so iv decided the only thing i would want would be a sub.

iv got a CD70 Navi and dont really plan on changing it so i will need to take a feed from the rear speakers using something like this http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/9631.html
i think im right if not please say.

Then il need the wiring pack with the standard stuff in and now i just want some help on picking a sub/subs and amp. I had a 15" in my last vec and it was fine but iv been told 2 12" can be better.

il also need a box unless its easy to make my own im happy to take it on so just help me with some ideas please guys

I had jbl in my old 306 gti 6 was good and quite loud I would deffo take a look at vibe mate it's awaome stuff

iv just looked at the vibe slick 12" halfords sell them for £30 without a box. Now say if im wrong but it just looks too cheap to be any good?

The jbl stuff will outperform the vibes IMHO....

Jbl list actual real rms wattson their kit, most of the time vibe will use marketing pompous numbers....

Jbl is good but there is no way on this earth it will out perform vibe the one I have is active with 2 bass ports it's 200 just for the one sub in a box with built in amp

I would go for JBL too. I had a 15 in a sealed unit and it was great made the roof bounce and that was with an old xs liberator 600w amp split to two 7x9s as well.. JBL all the way..
