Hi Chaps, hope you can help, because so far noboby else can...I've had my 2005 v6 vec for 18 months or so and for the last 4 months had intermittent hesitation and all the other scv issues widely documented on this forum. About a month ago it got much worse and developed what felt like a misfire and vibration from about 1500rpm onwards. A trip to the local dealer showed several codes that all related to fuel pressure. So far i have changed the scv's, the fuel filter, the vaccum boost valve and replaced all the vaccum pipes as they looked a bit ropey. The EGR valve has been checked and cleaned as has all the assosciated pipework....To no resolution... The dealer had the car last week and acknowledged the vibration, but "no codes found, no fault with the car". My local independant had the car today and checked engine mounts, subframe mounts, pulleys tensioners etc and found no issues, but the vibration is still there. The car itself pulls like a train returns good economy and doesn't smoke at all....HELP any ideas gratefully accepted.
