    Default advice on lowering

after a year or so of owning my veccy i am now of thinking about doing some more mods. i have just recently bought a new twin exit exhaust so thats waiting to be fitted, but also thinking of lowering it shortly. question is how much should i lower it on 18 " wheels? my last one was 60 mm on 17's but was a bit unpractical.
    thanks
