    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : SRi

    Engine : 1.9 CDTi 8v

    Year : 55

    Mileage : 92,000

    Default

I paid £135 for all 4 of mine to be replaced last year from a Vauxhall dealer

Mine being the 8 valve, plugs are situated round the back of the engine, so a damn site harder to do

There are a few other quotes in this post here:- http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...ht=glow&page=2

From what I can make out, is that if getting the parts supplied and fitted by VX they usually charge around the £130 mark, however I have seen BOSCH glowplugs on ebay for about £30 for 4 so if you can source the parts and get a local independent garage to swap them over it can be done a bit cheaper

I just wanted peace of mind at the end of the day with the reassurance that if anything went wrong then hopefully I'd not have to foot an expensive head removal and snapped glow plug repair bill

    Stick with a known brand.

Had nothing but problems with aftermarket ones.

Bosch Duraterm plugs get my vote. Had Denso and Beru in the past, but these Bosch ones are far better for cold starts

Pay some one too fit them - too many snapped glow plugs, means an hour's labour is pretty cheap!

Been quoted £106 to supply 6 of them for my 3.0 v6 from the stealers. That does not include fitting.
