Are you sure you have plugged the MAF sensor plug back in? _ make this mistake myself. Also it could be that having changed the filters etc, the ECU is seeing a big difference, so thinks there's something wrong. The easy way to test is to disconnect the battery for 30mins to see if the light goes off, or use a code reader.

Hi yeah I did have maf unplugged but when idealised it was out I put it back in. Old oil and filters were manky so that's what I thought that te ecu is regestering a massive change. Car still drives great and is very responsive still so must be the ecu being stupid lol. Will disconnecting the battery for half hour not screw upte immobiliser etc?

No it wont screw up anything. Before you do it though do the Pedal Test and see what fault codes are stored.

There you have it - the fault with the MAF sensor unplugged has been stored, so the light is on. It'll go off after around 20 starts, or you can just disconnect the battery for 30 mins. Remember to open the windows all the way down and back up with the switch to reset them after you reconnect the battery.

I find if you wait about 2 hours then restart the warning goes away
I learned that one from the dealership, where they have to disconnect the MAF sensor, rather than mess with TECH2 they just make the customer wait...
